De Vries Premium Wines operates the Hospitality Competence Center East Africa (HCC-EA), the only Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Approved Program Provider in East Africa. We are committed to elevating industry standards by offering best-in-class wine and spirit education, designed to inspire and empower professionals and enthusiasts across the region. Our programs include Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 courses in Wines and Level 1 and Level 2 in Spirits, providing globally recognized WSET qualifications. These qualifications set the international standard for wine and spirit knowledge, catering to both newcomers and seasoned professionals.

As part of our dedication to raising industry standards, HCC-EA has partnered with Boma International Hospitality College (BIHC) to integrate WSET wine courses into the college’s curriculum. This collaboration enables BIHC students to earn globally recognized WSET qualifications as part of their formal education, giving them a competitive edge in the hospitality and culinary arts industry. Through this partnership, students gain practical skills and in-depth wine knowledge that enhance their career prospects and service excellence in the East African hospitality sector.
